Omaha River Retreat

Since Beginning the courses run at Rainbow Valley Farm, Permaculture and Sustainable Rural Development Course, I have with the aid of Wwoorfers been able to put in to practice what I have learn.

The first thing I needed to do was find a way to eliminate Kikuyia grass to make way for tree planting. And to make a compost.Chicken Tractor

This is a Chicken tractor. The principal, is to use the chickens to scratch up the grass.

After a couple of weeks moving then on to the next patch of grass.
